FAQ'S
Do I need an appointment to try on gowns?
Yes, appointments are highly recommended at The Bridal Company so we can provide personalised, one-on-one styling in a relaxed boutique setting. Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, but booking ahead ensures the best experience.
How far in advance should I shop for my wedding dress?
We recommend shopping 4–8 months before your wedding date. This allows enough time for ordering, delivery, and alterations. For last-minute brides, we also offer off-the-rack gowns available for immediate purchase.
What sizes do your gowns come in?
Our bridal gowns are available in a wide range of sizes, including plus sizes. While sample sizes may vary in store, our experienced stylists can expertly fit and guide you to your perfect gown.
Can I order a gown in a different size or colour?
Yes. Most of our designers allow gowns to be ordered in various sizes and selected colours. Our team will walk you through all available options during your appointment.
Do you sell off-the-rack or sale wedding dresses?
Yes, we offer a curated selection of off-the-rack and sale bridal gowns that can be taken home the same day—perfect for budget-conscious or time-limited brides.
What is the price range of your wedding dresses?
At The Bridal Company, we stock gowns across a range of price points, from affordable bridalwear to exclusive designer pieces. Our goal is to make every bride feel incredible, no matter the budget.
Do you offer alterations?
Alterations are not included in the gown price unless stated. We can recommend trusted local seamstresses experienced in bridal alterations to ensure the perfect fit.
How many guests can I bring to my bridal appointment?
We recommend bringing 1–3 guests whose opinions you trust. This helps keep the experience focused, relaxed, and enjoyable.
What should I bring to my bridal appointment?
We suggest bringing:
• Nude or seamless underwear
• A strapless bra (if preferred)
• Shoes similar to your wedding heel height (optional)
Most importantly—bring your excitement!
What is your payment policy?
A deposit is required to place a gown order, with the remaining balance due prior to collection. Flexible payment options may be available—please speak with our team for details.
Can I take photos during my appointment?
No Photos or Videography. We kindly ask that you are respectful of other brides and our boutique environment.
What is your return or cancellation policy?
Wedding and formal gowns are special-order items, therefore all sales are final. Please speak with our team if you have questions—we are always happy to assist.
